Vietnam’s trade revenue reaches 98 pct of estimate in 9 months

HANOI, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) — Vietnam’s state budget revenue from import-export activities increased 17.6 percent to 200.2 trillion Vietnamese dong (8.05 billion U.S. dollars) in the first nine months of this year, reaching 98.1 percent of the whole year’s estimate, according to the latest statistics of the General Statistics Office.
Meanwhile, domestic revenue over the months surged 18.9 percent from the same period of last year to over 1.2 quadrillion dong (48.3 billion dollars), covering 83.3 percent of the whole year’s estimate.
Revenue from crude oil was estimated at 44.4 trillion dong (1.8 billion dollars), down 2.9 percent year on year.
In total, the country posted a budget collection of nearly 1.5 quadrillion dong (60.3 billion dollars) from the reporting period, up 17.9 percent year on year, said the office.
The Vietnamese government’s budget spending during the cited period stood at more than 1.2 quadrillion dong, reaching 59.3 percent of the whole year’s estimate, said the office. ■
